Katie's Krafts

What is the name of your business?

My name is Katie Hoog '23, and the name of my business is Katie’s Krafts.

What kinds of products do you sell?

I sell monogram stickers, iron-on vinyl t-shirts (some are SUA shirts!), painted picture hanging signs, and more.

What do you do with the proceeds?

I save all of the proceeds.

How long have you been running your business, and why did you start your business?

I have been running it for about two months (I started it July 25th, 2020). I started my business because I already loved making crafts for myself. I wanted to be able to sell them to other people so they can enjoy them too. I also really love expressing myself creatively:)

On average, how much work do you put into your business?

I put in about 3 hours per week. It all depends on how many orders I get, and the types of products that are requested.

What is the most unexpected, funny, or amazing thing that has come out of your business?

The most amazing thing that has come out of my business is all of the support I got. So many people have told me that my products were really cute, which motivates me to make more.
