What is your name and what is the name of your business?

My name is Jade Freeman, and the name of my business is Shades of Jade.

What type of products do you sell and why?

I sell accessories and clothes because there will always be a need for clothing, and they’re affordable.

Is going to school and running a business difficult and how?

It can be difficult at times because finding balance between school, work, and taking orders, especially while in a shop. I also have to remind myself that my mental health and peace comes before anything.

How much time is invested into your business?

I go to my shop everyday, which isn’t difficult because of the simple fact that in between customers I have time to complete my homework and have “me time. What do you do with the proceeds?

I save some of the money for college, and spend the rest on inventory.

How long have you been running your business?

I have been running my business since 8th grade, and have been in love ever since. I’ve always been a “girly girl” so my sense of fashion comes naturally when buying products.
