2023 Senior Shout-Outs!

There is no doubt that throughout the four years our 2023 seniors have spent at SUA, they have managed to have a drastic impact on the lives of everyone here at the Academy. The examples set for the freshman, sophomores, and juniors is something we will never forget, and for many of these students, they would like to recognize certain seniors for the memories they created, leadership they displayed, and special characteristics others inspire to have. We wish the best of luck to every single member of the class of 2023, and we will cherish every last thing you taught us over the years!!


Seniors we will miss:
  • Molly Gruber: “We have been going to school together for 12 years!” - Sophie Pressler

  • Hailey Hedrick: “She is such an amazing friend and gives amazing FRESH advice” - Mary Reese Sullivan; “She showed me how to get to math class on the first day of school and has become one of my best friends” - Phoebe Fulwiler; “She was always positive and she always made me laugh” - Riley Connley; “I'm going to miss Hailey calling me Kali not Kailey everytime she sees me” - Kali Boeing

  • Mallory Como: “She has been by my side since freshman year and has become my twin and triplet! We had the best soccer memories and I don't want to do it without her. I am going to miss ranting to her!” - Ella Rack

  • Kennedy Rugless: “She showed me a lot of love and she gave me someone to look up to, in sports, out of school and as a good person. You’re a very athletic person Kennedy, love ya” - Amiyah Ashley

  • Maggie Finley: “She has been my best friend since the beginning and we have always been close to each other and have always gone to the same school. Now she is going to North Carolina for college, and we won’t be at the same school anymore, and I’m going to miss having someone to annoy 24/7” - Mollie Finley

  • Natalie Hein: “She always listens to me and helps me with my homework. Natalie has always been here for me, and I love hanging out with her. I feel like I can tell her anything. I am going to miss talking to her and her great hugs” - Alex Serger

  • Mazie Knight: “I've known her before I went here, and I feel really close with her and she cheers me up and looks out for me like a big sister.   • Libby Klus: “I went to grade school with her and she was always willing to hang out with someone a year younger than her. I’m thankful for all the UDF walks and getting ice cream in the summer and all the buds rides with you” - Mollie Finley

  • Samantha Scheve: “She is such a good friend and I enjoy seeing her everyday” - Sophia Riccardi

  • Lauren Ayer: “Because of her kindness and love she showed toward me and everyone she interacted with. She knew how to make everyone feel welcome and have a friend. I knew I could always talk to her or ask questions when I needed it” - Evie Webster

  • Sofia DeJesus: “She is such a smiling face and a caring and loving person. She is always including everyone or asking how everyone's day is going. I am thankful for the friendship I have developed with Sofia over my junior because she can always make me laugh or get me in a better mood. I'm really glad I got to know such a genuine person like Sofia and I know she will do great things at OSU” - Liliana Marcheschi

  • Kate Hummel: “She always has said hi to me whenever she sees me” - Ava Savage

  • Megan Knapke: “She drives me a lot. I love navigating for Megan Knapke who is the best driver in the world. Megan is so funny and she is really nice to me. Megan is a blessing in my life” - Alex Serger

  • Ainsley O’toole: “She stepped up when she needed to in basketball and this year she was our only senior and she was always keeping everyone engaged and making sure everyone was focusing and always had our backs. She was a great team leader and she was just what this team needed this year.” - Mollie Finley; “She cares for everyone around her and puts herself outside of her own comfort level to make sure those around her are happy” - Lucy Schwendeman

  • Sammie Neeb: “She was the oldest of us when we went to field hockey camp and always kept us in line” - Ava Savage; “She always makes sure we are on track in SUAVE and encourages everyone to do their best. Sammie is so creative and I love seeing her everyday” - Alex Serger

  • Elizabeth Frederick: “The entirety of soccer! I specifically really enjoyed tp night, senior day and night, scavy, views on life, and sitting on the bench last year!!! My best friend fr!!!!” - Ella Rack

  • Kate Stagnaro: “Laughing on the sidelines at games because we both had concussions” - Ava Savage

  • Mazie Knight: “When we figured out that she used to come to my school all the time and that I knew her mother and brother. She was a little shorter around that time when her mom taught my gym class!” - Amiyah Ashley

  • Alexx Forman: “Running to Eden Park and complaining the entire time because I really just didn’t want to do it but she helped me keep my head up and finish the run” - Mollie Finley

  • Stella McNab: “Sitting in Anna's room during practice because we were both injured and always having something to laugh or talk about. She always knew how to make me feel better and make me more confident.   • Paige Warden: “Hanging out every weekend when I was a freshman” - Ava Savage

  • Lauren Stefanski: “Going to Body Alive” - Katie Mancini

  • Momo Greenwell: “When she kidnapped me and took me to Bibibop with Fiona. I got to talk with her about so many things and really get to know her. Momo is so funny and talented and I am going to miss her in SUAVE” - Alex Serger

  • Sammie Neeb: “I left my bag at a field a mile away and Sammie drove me to go get it” - Ava Savage

  • Margo Kelley: “Cosplaying during track practices and cracking jokes always” - Aaliyah Rush

  • Sofia DeJesus: “My favorite memories are from AP Euro and from AP Environmental science. Both classes we sat at tables together and I will miss her and our conversations so much. She always made the classes so much more fun and entertaining” - Liliana Marcheschi

  • Lily Childs: “I miss back when we were in art and design and would laugh at each other's work & play roblox together. I also had so much fun having another class with Lily this year in AP Spanish and joking around at our (awesome) table with Callie and Sarah” - Gabriela Selva

  • Hailey Hedrick: “When Hailey got so excited that I was her HAM artist and all the fun times we had together during theater and when we would chat about random events during our ES bell. I will miss you Hailey!” - Mary Reese Sullivan

  • Kennedy Rugless: “When we would always do the ‘whatever daddy wants, daddy gets’ things. Good memory” - Amiyah Ashley

  • Paige Warden: “Paige was driving and I lost my phone and it was on her windshield the whole time” - Ava Savage

  • Caty Leahy: “Her and I's fun talks about books :)” - Ellamae Brodbeck

  • Mary Anhofer: “Watching Mary Anhofer play soccer. She is an amazing player and I loved going to support her and watch all the SUA soccer games. She is a great athlete and I can’t wait to see what she does at MSJ” - Mollie Finley
