Fly Away on a Bird

Bird is a company that offers rentable and shareable electric scooters for city travelers. In the past few months, the Californian-based company has been branching out to big cities like San Francisco, New York, and Paris and has even hit our home, Cincinnati.

Watch this 90-second video to get a feel for them and then take our scooter survey (at bottom).

There are six quick and easy steps to fly away on your Bird scooter.

The first step is to download the app, which is accessible for both iPhone and Android. After downloading the app, you are able to log in and find many Bird scooters on the app’s map. After finding a charged scooter, they are easy to ride. These scooters are rentable, so you have to add your credit card and driver’s license information onto the app before it will unlock one for you to use.

Safety is important to ride the Bird. The company advises you to bring a helmet to ride on one of their scooters. Once you’ve had your amazing experience of riding a Bird, make sure to park it without blocking any sort of pedestrian walkway. If you’ve ridden on a Bird scooter or one from their rival, Lime, let us know your experience here.
